Experts analyze summary of Senate immigration bill

The U.S. Senate has made available a summary of upcoming legislation to overhaul the nation’s immigration laws. We have asked two experts on immigration law to provide analysis of this summary. They are Bill Ong Hing, professor of law at the University of San Francisco and founder of the Immigrant Legal Resource Center in San Francisco; and Bruce J. Einhorn, a retired federal immigration judge and current professor of law at Pepperdine University, where he directs the Asylum and Refugee Law Clinic.
