    Member of group ‘C&K’ charged in sex-crime case

    A mem­ber of one of Hawaii’s most pop­u­lar mu­sic­al groups has pleaded not guilty in Los Angeles County Su­per­i­or Court to sex crime charges in­volving two un­der­age girls in the late 1990s, of­fi­cials said Thursday.

    Cecilio Rodrig­uez, 66, of the duo Cecilio and Ka­pono, is charged with two counts of com­mit­ting lewd and las­ci­vi­ous acts in Los Angeles County with a child young­er than 14, ac­cord­ing to a crim­in­al com­plaint.
