How a front group concealed Donald Trump’s attacks against an Indian tribe

Consultant Roger Stone, a master of dark political tactics, told New York state investigators that he came up with the idea to create a purported anti-gambling group to hide the fact that Donald Trump was paying for attack ads to thwart plans for a Native American tribe’s casino. Stone was unabashed and unrepentant throughout his grilling by investigators, admitting that the president of the group made no decisions – and insisting Trump was entitled to fund the campaign in secret.
