Chapter 11 trustee report on Bergstein companies

This 400-plus page re­port was pre­pared by a forensic ac­count­ant ap­poin­ted as a trust­ee by United States Bank­ruptcy Court to ex­am­ine five com­pan­ies con­trolled by troubled film fin­an­ci­er Dav­id Bergstein. The re­port al­leges that Bergstein’s busi­ness part­ner Ron Tu­tor, the chief ex­ec­ut­ive of con­truc­tion gi­ant Tu­tor-Saliba Corp. and an own­er of Miramax Films, falsely claimed to have sep­ar­ated from the bank­rupt firms in early 2009.

It also al­leges that thou­sands of doc­u­ments were de­leted and that Bergstein and Tu­tor have denied the trust­ee ac­cess to files that he sought. Read more »
