    Psychiatrist disciplined over treatment of 6-year-old

    A Los Angeles psy­chi­at­rist was dis­cip­lined earli­er this month for pre­scrib­ing nearly a dozen psy­cho­trop­ic, mood-al­ter­ing drugs to a 6-year-old dur­ing a two-year peri­od without keep­ing ad­equate med­ic­al re­cords. Dr. Nicole Poli­quin-Wil­li­ams was is­sued a pub­lic rep­rim­and by the Med­ic­al Board of Cali­for­nia on Ju­ly 15.
