Lee et al. v. Cargill Meat Solutions Corp.

An Ore­gon fam­ily is su­ing the meat-pro­cessor gi­ant, say­ing their daugh­ter was hos­pit­al­ized after eat­ing Sal­mon­ella-tain­ted tur­key. The fed­er­al com­plaint is ex­pec­ted to among the first of a slew of cases filed against Car­gill in the wake of the com­pany re­call­ing 36 mil­lion pounds of fresh and frozen ground tur­key products this month due to pos­sible con­tam­in­a­tion.
