Judge’s order to delay Malibu Lagoon restoration

San Fran­cisco Judge Ern­est Gold­smith is­sued a stay on Tues­day, May 24 that delays a con­tested plan to re­store Malibu La­goon by dredging and re­shap­ing the wet­land. Sev­er­al or­gan­iz­a­tions sued the state Coastal Com­mis­sion to block the pro­ject near Surfrider Beach in Malibu.
