Salazar visits Cuba, passes information to FBI

This is one of sev­er­al art­icles writ­ten by Ruben Salaz­ar dur­ing his trip to Cuba. The trip promp­ted the FBI to con­duct a back­ground check on the news­man. Af­ter­ward, Salaz­ar met with an FBI in­form­ant and passed on in­form­a­tion about Afric­an Amer­ic­an act­iv­ist Stokely Car­mi­chael, who was in Havana at the time, ac­cord­ing to FBI re­cords.
