Settlement of lawsuit over treatment of homeless in Pomona

The city of Pomona and 15 home­less res­id­ents reached this agree­ment re­quir­ing the city to provide stor­age for the prop­erty of home­less people and re­strict­ing the city’s en­force­ment of three or­din­ances pro­hib­it­ing tents, per­son­al prop­erty and overnight camp­ing on pub­lic prop­erty. The agree­ment settles a law­suit filed by Pub­lic Coun­sel in March.
