St. Louis protesters win restraining order limiting police use-of-force

A group of demon­strat­ors in­volved in protests in St. Louis and Fer­guson, Mo. have a won a re­strain­ing or­der that will force po­lice to give demon­strat­ors ample warn­ing be­fore they use tear gas, chem­ic­al sprays and oth­er types of force to dis­perse crowds. Protests have per­sisted in the area and across the coun­try in the wake of grand jury de­cisions not to in­dict po­lice of­ficers who killed un­armed black men in New York City and Fer­guson.
