Tony Dorsett workers’ comp claim dismissal

A California workers’ compensation judge threw out a brain injury claim by NFL Hall of Fame running back Tony Dorsett in May because he had accepted a settlement for orthopedic injuries in 1991. In August, three judges upheld that decision. Dorsett was diagnosed with symptoms of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) this week.
