Tribune bankruptcy opinion

After nearly three years in bank­ruptcy, the own­er of the Los Angeles Times, the KTLA-TV sta­tion, the Chica­go Tribune and oth­er me­dia prop­er­ties must go back to cred­it­ors to try to come up with an­oth­er plan for get­ting the com­pany out of the court sys­tem.

U.S. Bank­ruptcy Judge Kev­in J. Carey set a hear­ing for Nov. 22 to de­term­ine the next steps in a case that was filed in Decem­ber 2008.
