4 L.A.-area men arrested in alleged terror plot

Four men with ties to South­ern Cali­for­nia were ar­res­ted and charged in an al­leged ter­ror plot to com­mit “vi­ol­ent ji­had.” The ar­rests came after a months-long un­der­cov­er op­er­a­tion that in­cluded a con­fid­en­tial in­form­ant and cov­ert on­line FBI agents.
