Audit: GPS monitoring in L.A. County

Ac­cord­ing to an audit con­duc­ted by the Los Angeles County pro­ba­tion de­part­ment one in every four GPS devices used to track ser­i­ous crim­in­als re­leased in the county is faulty. The Times ob­tained the res­ults of the audit through a pub­lic re­cords re­quest.
