California’s proposed one-drug execution method

Un­der a court set­tle­ment agree­ment, Cali­for­nia on Fri­day pub­lished a pro­posed ex­e­cu­tion meth­od that al­lows the state to se­lect from a list of four drugs and on a case-by-case basis the chem­ic­al that would be used in an ex­e­cu­tion. That list is on page 17 of this 149-page doc­u­ment.
