Member of group ‘C&K’ charged in sex-crime case

A member of one of Hawaii’s most popular musical groups has pleaded not guilty in Los Angeles County Superior Court to sex crime charges involving two underage girls in the late 1990s, officials said Thursday.
Cecilio Rodriguez, 66, of the duo Cecilio and Kapono, is charged with two counts of committing lewd and lascivious acts in Los Angeles County with a child younger than 14, according to a criminal complaint.
