Today’s Amer­ic­an col­lege fresh­man is more lib­er­al, less re­li­gious and in­creas­ingly com­mit­ted to civic in­volve­ment and polit­ic­al act­iv­ism than her pre­de­cessors in pre­vi­ous gen­er­a­tions, ac­cord­ing to a na­tion­al sur­vey re­leased by UCLA re­search­ers.
