Court OKs settlement between former football players and the NFL

A fed­er­al judge ap­proved a mul­ti­mil­lion-dol­lar pre­lim­in­ary set­tle­ment of­fer between the NFL and law­yers for the more than 4,500 former play­ers seek­ing dam­ages for con­cus­sion-re­lated in­jur­ies.
