Federal appeals court will not lift stay of Obama order to shield immigrants from deportation

A fed­er­al ap­peals court in Louisi­ana has re­fused to lift a lower court’s rul­ing that blocked Pres­id­ent Obama’s land­mark ex­ec­ut­ive ac­tions that aimed to shield up to 5 mil­lion people from de­port­a­tion.
