Federal judge overturns Alabama same-sex marriage ban

A fed­er­al judge has over­turned a pro­vi­sion in Alabama’s state con­sti­tu­tion that barred same-sex mar­riage. It now leg­al for same-sex couples to marry in more than 30 states and the Dis­trict of Columbia.
