U.S. Sentencing Commission analysis of drug law changes

This doc­u­ment con­tains the U.S. Sen­ten­cing Com­mis­sion’s ana­lys­is of the kinds of felons ex­pec­ted to have their fed­er­al sen­tences shortened if lower drug pen­al­ties were made ret­ro­act­ive. The first 6,000 of those early pris­on re­leases are cur­rently oc­cur­ing.
