Proposition A

Pro­pos­i­tion A, au­thor­iz­ing $980 in bor­row­ing, was ap­proved by voters in 2001, the first of three bond au­thor­iz­a­tions in the Los Angeles Com­munity Col­lege Dis­trict’s $5.7-bil­lion re­build­ing pro­gram. Its back­ers raised $606,984 in con­tri­bu­tions.
