LAFD hope­fuls who sub­mit­ted key pa­per­work more than 60 seconds after a fil­ing peri­od opened last April were elim­in­ated from con­sid­er­a­tion for a train­ing class now un­der­way, ac­cord­ing to re­cords ob­tained The Times.
