Lawmakers call for a vote on Syria strikes

Rep. Scott Ri­gell (R-Va.), is cir­cu­lat­ing a let­ter to col­leagues cit­ing both the Con­sti­tu­tion and the War Powers Res­ol­u­tion of 1973 in re­quir­ing a vote in Con­gress be­fore pro­ceed­ing with the type of strike against the As­sad re­gime re­portedly be­ing con­sidered.
