Tak­ing in­to ac­count those who cycle in and out of home­less­ness, about 156,000 people will be home­less at some point each year in Los Angeles County, ac­cord­ing to this ana­lys­is by the Car­o­lina Sur­vey Re­search Labor­at­ory at the Uni­versity of North Car­o­lina at Chapel Hill.
