More homeless people on the streets

This page from the 2016 home­less count re­port shows few­er people lived in shel­ters com­pared to 2015 while more were on the streets. The re­port at­trib­utes the growth of the “un­sheltered” pop­u­la­tion to a net loss of beds. (Ex­cludes Gl­end­ale, Long Beach and Pas­adena.)
