Newtown shooting search warrants

Newly re­leased war­rants out­line what po­lice found in Adam Lanza’s home and car dur­ing of­fi­cial searches of the New­ton, Conn., home he shared with his moth­er. Lanza killed his moth­er in that home be­fore he at­tacked Sandy Hook Ele­ment­ary School on Dec. 14. In an as­sault at the school that las­ted less than five minutes, Lanza killed 20 chil­dren and six adults. Ac­cord­ing to search war­rants re­leased on Thursday, he had an ar­sen­al of guns, more than 1,000 rounds of am­muni­tion and even samurai swords, knives and a bay­on­et.
