Newtown shooting search warrants
Newly released warrants outline what police found in Adam Lanza’s home and car during official searches of the Newton, Conn., home he shared with his mother. Lanza killed his mother in that home before he attacked Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14. In an assault at the school that lasted less than five minutes, Lanza killed 20 children and six adults. According to search warrants released on Thursday, he had an arsenal of guns, more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition and even samurai swords, knives and a bayonet.
