NFL Players Assn. sued over concussions

Two re­tired play­ers have sued the NFL Play­ers Assn. over the uni­on’s hand­ling of con­cus­sions. They al­lege the uni­on con­cealed the long-term ef­fects of such in­jur­ies and didn’t in­vest dues in safety ef­forts. In a state­ment, the uni­on denied the claims.
