Northwestern appeals NLRB ruling that athletes are employees

On Thursday, North­west­ern ap­pealed a rul­ing by a re­gion­al dir­ect­or of the Na­tion­al Labor Re­la­tions Board that col­lege schol­ar­ship ath­letes are em­ploy­ees and can uni­on­ize.
