Review of Wood’s execution

A re­view of the Ari­zona De­part­ment of Cor­rec­tions’ ex­e­cu­tion pro­to­cols was con­duc­ted after the Ju­ly 23 ex­e­cu­tion of Joseph R. Wood III. Wood re­ceived 15 doses of the ex­e­cu­tion drugs, dy­ing nearly two hours after the first dose was ad­min­istered.
