Schwarzenegger’s actions on state parole board decisions

Former Gov. Arnold Schwar­zeneg­ger over­turned the pa­role board’s de­cisions to free 285 in­mates in 2009, the last year for which com­plete re­cords are avail­able. Of those, 29 par­ti­cip­ated in a crime that left a vic­tim dead but did not de­liv­er the fatal blow them­selves. El­ev­en had no pre­vi­ous crim­in­al con­vic­tions.
