‘Stairway to Heaven’ copyright infringement lawsuit

A judge has cleared the way for a copy­right-in­fringe­ment suit filed by the es­tate of the gui­tar­ist from the band Spir­it, re­gard­ing the open­ing of the song “Stair­way to Heav­en,” to pro­ceed against Led Zep­pelin and its mem­bers, Warner Mu­sic Group Corp. and oth­ers.
