Universal Studio Tour: Accident investigation reports

The Stu­dio Tour at Uni­ver­sal Stu­di­os Hol­ly­wood gen­er­ated nine ac­ci­dent re­ports filed with the state De­part­ment of In­dus­tri­al Re­la­tions from 2007 to 2012. The re­ports for June 17, 2007, de­scribed how a fam­ily of five from Illinois was splashed with bat­tery acid dur­ing the ride.

Redaction: The state Department of Industrial Relations redacted the names, addresses and phone numbers of all accident victims from its reports starting in 2011. For accident reports dated before 2011, The Times has redacted the names of minors and the addresses and phone numbers of all other accident victims.
