Supreme Court ruling on smart phone searches

Po­lice may not search the smart­phones of people who are put un­der ar­rest un­less they have a war­rant, the Su­preme Court has ruled, a un­an­im­ous and sur­pris­ing vic­tory for pri­vacy ad­voc­ates.
