On May 13, 1959, The Times re­por­ted that Eliza­beth Taylor and Ed­die Fish­er wed at Temple Beth Sha­lom in Las Ve­gas. The story said the wed­ding took place the same day his di­vorce from act­ress Debbie Reyn­olds was fi­nal, al­though there were later ques­tions about the tim­ing.
